The PSP Report Card – One Year Later

Well folks, the psp has now been out for about one year and its time to take a look at how it has done and whether or not it lived up to its expectations. All in all, I would say that the graphics on mostly any psp game definitely looked awesome. Its hard to believe how far technology has actually come over the years. It doesn’t seem that long ago when I can remember playing Tetris on my gameboy and i thought that was the best thing since sliced bread. Boy have we come along way, huh.

Gastric Bypass Surgery – Just The Facts

Gastric Bypass surgery is becoming increasingly more popular for the morbid obese. For some people, there just isn’t any other alternative to get rid of the excess weight. In order to qualify for the surgery, you must have a body mass index of more than 40, which usually translates to being 100 or more pounds overweight. Gastric Bypass surgery is a procedure in which the surgeon will create a pouch out of your stomach, divide the stomach and then connect the pouch directly to the intestine, basically “bypassing” the lower stomach. The whole idea is to limit the amount food that the patient can consume and to shorten up the digestive track so that fewer calories can be absorbed by the patients body. Since the person cannot consume as much food, they are not going to consume as many calories and thus force the body to use stored fat.

Living With Heartburn

Hello, My name is Reggie and I suffer from acid reflux, also known as G.E.R.D., which stands for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease.I was offically diagnosed with it when I was in my mid 20′s, but was suffering from it long before that. Around my mid-teens, it seemed that I was constantly getting heartburn if I ate certain foods. As I got older and entered college, it got to the point where everything gave me heartburn. I would buy rolaids and tums in bulk and pop them like candy. I had to have them with me everywhere I went. Eventually, I finally broke down and went to see my family doctor about the problem. Initially, he suggested certain food items to stay away from which basically amounted to everything that I enjoyed and suggested to limit my alcohol consumption and told me to take some over the counter medicine that was a little stronger than rolaids (and also a “little” more expensive).
